2026 Summary

Two big years of finals and then a letdown in 2025 saw many Blues fans - and players it would seem - question the way forward. In a difficult season ending, we would lose Curnow, De Koning and Jack Silvagni to a desire for greener pastures (careers, coaches, dollars, or all 3). But the Blues hierarchy under new Boss Graham Wright were not going to miss the opportunity to replenish the list and proactively traded those boys out for a range of picks and mature aged players, led by Swans Gun Will Hayward, to boost our changes in 2026. With a range of early picks and the returning Jagga Smith and Nic Newman, the pessimism quickly disappeared....

A pretty solid pre-season of consecutive wins against top teams showed us that when all aligned, the team had strengths.

However a diappointing 'Opening Round' second half saw us start the year with an away loss.
