Veterans Match
At Princes Park on Saturday 12 August 1933 at 2pm. the Club held a match played between Carlton veterans. Amongst the old players to nominate for the match was Jim Goonan.
As well as the veterans match there was a match with representatives from the Young Chinese League, a women's match, 100 yards handicap race, and a long kicking competition.
10,000 people attended and in the evening the veterans were entertained in the pavilion.

March 2018 and the club was contacted by a descendant of Jim Goonan.
