Game Review

Both the Blues and Kouta would continue to surge in this game at Princes Park. The Blues would win by 45 points through a great spread of goal-kickers, while Kouta picked up a career-best 39 disposals, 13 marks and kicked 2 goals to earn the 3 Brownlow votes. Andrew McKay was also outstanding and he also picked up a career-high 31 disposals to earn himself 1 Brownlow vote.

In particular Kouta's third quarter of 7 kick, 7 marks & 7 handballs was described by club great Steven Kernahan as "best quarter of football from a player he's ever seen".
