Victor Clarence Truman represented the Blues on a single occasion in 1920. Truman wore jumper number 23 in his only game. He was born in North Carlton and recruited from Carlton District.

The Williamstown Chronicle June 11 1921, reporting on the previous Saturday's match Williamstown playing Brighton mentions that Truman (Carlton) came into the the team. He scored a goal, and the paper said; "Truman made a useful start, and, with better knowledge of his club-mates, will be the goods."

In 1926, Truman played the season for Fitzroy in which he managed 10 games.

Truman passed away at Williamstown on the 7th November, 1976 aged 76.

Image; Despite the photo being spelt Trueman, the adjoining article in The Sun (Sept. 03 p16 1923) twice spells his name as Truman.
