Game Review

Carlton easily accounted for the Pivotonians and stole 3rd position from arch rival Collingwood.

"Carlton played McKenzie their new man From Tallygaroopna, on the half back flank line, chiefly, against Geelong, and he made quite a name for himself. He proved fast, and showed excellent judgment." (Herald August 27 p3)

At the end of this round Carlton were in 3rd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 124.6.
