Game Review

One of the largest crowds for the season, so far, attended. The wind was blowing across the ground with Blues kicking to the western or Royal Parade end in the first quarter.

In a crucial match, the 5th-placed Blues easily beat 2nd-placed Richmond by 33 points.
"The winners showed great improvement on their previous form. They played well together, and in the run for the ball they were invariably first." (Age July 12)

At the end of this round Carlton were in 5th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 107.7.
