Challenge Cup Competition
Career: 1865

Could be John Fargher
Played 2 games early in 1865 and nearly lost his life in a Ballarat mining accident later in '65.(RofAd)

The only mention found so far of this player is that he is listed in the 1865 Carlton team squad in Mark Pennings' book "Origins of Australian Football.

1865 - When Carlton played the Warehousemen club on June 10 the Carlton squad included a player named Fargher, could this be Farquar?
The name Fargher appears in many Carlton team squads in 1865.
However, Fargher does not appear in Pennings Carlton players list.
