Henry John Wilmott "Harry" Gyles

Giles recruited from the Hawthorn F. C.

1895 May 18
Giles debuted for Carlton in the Blues second match of the season against Richmond at the University Ground.

1895 July 6
Giles played in the victory over North Melbourne at the M.C.G.

1895 June 22
Carlton vs Fitzroy, in the 20 man team squad Giles is spelt Gyles.
Could this be Harry Gyles who played his one and only game in 1897, the first year of the V.F.L?
If it is, then he would have been just 14 years 359 days!
